BOARD MEETING INFORMATION


The RSU #23 School Board meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Saco City Hall and Old Orchard Beach Town Hall (see specific dates below). The meeting is broadcast LIVE in on Community Access Channel 3. This meeting is also rebroadcast on Channel 3 twice a day for one-full week in Old Orchard Beach and three-times a week in Saco for the week following the live broadcast. Please check Community Access Channel 3 schedule for times.

EXECUTIVE SESSION


In accordance with the Freedom of Access (“right-to-Know”) law, Board meetings are held in public. The Board may go into private or executive session, upon a vote of 5/7 of the members present and voting, for consideration of certain matters specified in law (e.g., personnel, student suspension/expulsion, contracts to be negotiated, collective bargaining, legal advise or pending litigation). No final action may be taken in executive sessions.
