At Jameson School learning is our purpose. Our educators work in teams called professional learning communities, or PLCs, to achieve this purpose. These PLCs work collaboratively to achieve better results for the students we serve.
Our PLCs operate under the assumption that the key to improved learning for students is continuous learning for all of our educators. We are actively building within our school the structure and vehicles we need to make this collaborative work and learning effective and productive for us all. Improving our educators is the key to improving our school.
Significant school improvement will have a positive impact on all of our students’ learning. Great teachers make a positive impact on and help many of their students achieve. Teams of great teachers share their good practice and draw on each others’ strengths to help all of their students achieve. At Jameson School, we are working together to achieve what we cannot accomplish alone. Our students, and their safety, success, and well-being, are our highest priority.
Jameson School is proud to continue to take part in the Breakfast in the Classroom program school-wide this year. All students will be offered free breakfast in their own classroom at 8:30 am every school day this year!
